Soumendra Pain received his B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology, and his M.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology in 2012 and 2014 respectively. Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. in Engineering from AcSIR-CMERI-Durgapur. He works as an Assistant Professor in the Electronics & Communication Engineering Department at Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College, Durgapur. His research interests include Image processing, Image compression, metamaterial-based planner antenna design, antenna for vehicular communication, and microwave devices for intelligent transport systems.
