During my official visits to different parts of West Bengal in last few years. I had opportunity to be at the campus of Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College and Group of Institutions on several occasions Its location at the centre of Asansol - Industrial Belt. sprawling vibrant campus, spacious infrastructure and strength of faculties. students and above all presence of absolutely committed entrepreneurs drew my attention and I could identify its future path potential. The MAKAUT Nodal Centre for entire Southern West Bergal is, naturally, located at BCREC Campus, Durgapur.

            Academic programmes and their sincere implementation in all the institutions under its fold is the prime strength of this Educational Group and the day is not far for this institution to itself as a truly advanced centre of learning and research in the country.

My best wishes to all the members of faculty, officers, students, staff and the college management of all four institutions, namely, BCREC, BCR-APC, BCRCP and BCRP including postgraduate progammes, M. Tech, M. Pharm, MBA and MCA to put in their best and lead these institutions to the right level of eminence at the earliest.

There is an adage that an institution is known by its teachers. With highly experienced and matured teaching faculty and thousands of talented students, I wish this powerful Group of Institutions all success.
